You're invited to join Korinna Domingo, Conservation Specialist of the Mountain Lion Foundation, to learn more about living with mountain lions! Discover how scientists observe and study the behavior of mountain lions, and learn why these beautiful animals are so important.

In her presentation, Domingo will clear up common misconceptions about these amazing wild cats, share interesting information about their biology and behavior, and help answer any questions you might have about living alongside mountain lions.

This talk is geared toward participants who are ages 6 - 13 years old. Registration is required for participants, but parents are welcome to attend with their child.

About Korinna Domingo
Korinna helps to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts throughout the state of California, partnering with state and federal agencies to reduce the number of mountain lions killed on depredation permits. Throughout the years Korinna has worked on a variety of wildlife projects that include species such as black bears, mountain lions, porcupines, river otters, and Roosevelt elk. She is currently leading the Foundation's human dimensions study in Southern California, investigating human perceptions towards mountain lions in regions that have historically experienced high levels of human-lion conflict. Korinna is a passionate science communicator and a frequent speaker at community events and professional conferences. She is dedicated to working collaboratively with communities to implement solutions that increase public safety and protects both lions and livelihoods.
