Event Details
This is a free music education and performing opportunity! We are looking for 3rd through 12th-graders interested in joining the Carmel Mountain Community Youth Choir (CMCYC). No experience necessary!
If you would like to meet new friends, have fun, and learn about music, please sign up below and let us know you are interested. Since we will be holding at least two performances per year (one in May, and one in December), and since all chorister-cast members will inevitably end up on film and video, we ask that parents/guardians fill out the model release form (link on this event page).
For those who have a knowledge of music theory and/or experience singing in groups, please consider joining us, as your skills will help anchor our sound. If you would like to sing "solo," there will be plenty of opportunities to get out front and showcase your skills. As pioneering members, this will be a unique opportunity to contribute in building our group from the group up. Please bring your suggestions, song ideas, and don't be afraid to try something new.
***There is no need to sign up for the this event if you already attended the Thursday, February 12th session. One sign-up is good for both.***
