San Diego Central Library Celebrates 10 Years | 2013 - 2023 

Join us to celebrate the Central Library’s 10 year anniversary.

All ages welcome!

Schedule of Events

10am – Welcoming Remarks by Library Director Misty Jones and State Librarian Greg Lucas

10am-12pm Resource Fair

10am-2pm IDEA Lab activities (scavenger hunt and library swag!) in the Mary Hollis Clark Conference Center, 1st Floor

10:30am- Children’s Storytime

11am-2pm – Face painting and balloon animals

11am – Sing happy birthday and enjoy light refreshments with ODI the Coyote

11am-12pm – Teen Crafts

11:30am-12pm - San Diego Taiko in the Neil Morgan Auditorium, 1st Floor 

12pm-2pm – Swing Dancing

All day - Display of San Diego Central Library history in the Popular Library, 1st Floor 

*Free commemorative tote bag while supplies last*
