Event Details

This workshop is inspired by the characters in the play BLACKBIRD, performed in the Annex on April 13 & 19.

In the play BLACKBIRD, Una and Ray are written with remarkable detail and subtle nuances that make their characters come to life. Join Tia Meredith for a morning of multi-sensory prompts designed to kick start your characters-- to make them more believable for the page or stage.

Tia Meredith is a native Midwesterner, author of the children’s picture book Leonidas and the Dolphin and former marketing copywriter/video script writer for Hay House Publishing. She spent over 10 years in the federal government working as a marketer, trainer, account manager, real estate project manager and finally as a strategic analyst in Washington D.C before spreading her wings to Voula, Greece. Tia holds a BS in Personnel Psychology, graduating cum laude; and holds a MA in Management and Leadership, graduating summa cum laude. She currently works as a freelance marketing copywriter, content strategist, online course creator, and a writing coach for those in the self-help and wellness genre. She lives in San Diego with her amazing husband and pug Lulu.
