Alice Rumphius longed to travel the world, live in a house by the sea, and do something to make the world more beautiful. Her story is inspired by the real-life story of Hilda Hamlin, known as the "Lupine Lady", who scattered flower seeds everywhere she went, making the world a more colorful and beautiful place.
We will be reading the “Miss Rumphius” by Barbara Cooney and painting with acrylics on canvas to create our own lovely basket of gorgeous spring flowers!
