Local surf historian and author Chris Ahrens discusses his new book Windansea: Life. Death. Resurrection. Featuring archival photographs and first-hand accounts, this coffee table volume documents the rich history and culture of this iconic surf break in La Jolla and the legendary people who made their names there between 1937 and 1981.

 

Ahren's discussion will feature highlighted photographs and a brief reading from the book followed by a Q&A session and book signing. Light refreshments will also be provided. 

 

All attendees will be entered in a drawing to win a copy of the book.
