Please join us for a City of San Diego led workshop to educate the general public on the San Diego Gas and Electric franchise fee agreement for gas and electric services that is set to expire at the end of 2020. We will provide information on the existing franchise (which has been in place since 1970), discuss what other cities and municipalities include in their franchise agreements, and then provide you with an explanation on your energy bills.
At the end of the session, a survey will be conducted for feedback on issues that you would like addressed in the development of the next franchise fee.
