The people have spoken, and our community voted to watch To Kill a Mockingbird on Monday, September 24th!

To Kill a Mockingbird (1962, not rated, 129 minutes) is the story of Atticus Finch, a widowed, morally upright lawyer who defends a black man accused of raping a white woman in 1930s Alabama. Meanwhile, his two young children become involved in a mystery involving the town pariah.

On the 4th Monday of each month we screen a film that has been selected by the members of our community.  This month, in honor of March: Book One being chosen as the One Book, One San Diego 2018 selection, we invited you to vote on which civil-rights themed film we will show.  Please feel free to share your suggestions as to what we will show on Monday, October 22.  You can vote in-person at the PB Library's Circulation Desk, online in our Facebook poll, or by emailing your vote to cwainwright@sandiego.gov
