Recommended for Ages:     10-17

Description:  This is a 2-hour introduction to collecting US Coins by expert coin collector and author, Dr. Bob Fagaly. Dr. Fagaly is also well known for his longstanding introductory classes for the Scout merit badge program at the local Coinarama Coin Show.  This class gives a condensed introduction to coin collecting basics with some hands on to actual coins. It covers a brief history of US Coins, the many types of coins, errors, counterfeits, grading, information about the American Numismatist Association, local clubs and other sources.  It is well suited for the new young collector.
