Event Details

Eric Dickerson will perform The Art of the Classical Guitar on 11 and 13 string alto guitars. Dickerson will provide historical insights into the classical guitar as well as its repertoire. His alto guitars are specifically constructed to imitate the range of a 17th century alto lute and an 18th century baroque lute. The program features works by Baroque composers Johann Sebastian Bach, Leopold Weiss, Johann Anton Logy, and Renaissance composer Francesco Da Milano.
