Program Description
Event Details
Here we discuss the best true crime books. While the stories can be gruesome and the characters repulsive, the stories entertain and often promote considerations of sociological and psychological perspectives. We will discuss the narratives and the storytelling. We meet via Zoom on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. This month's selection is "And the Sea Will Tell" by Vincent Bugliosi. The book draws together hundreds of conflicting details of a mystery and reconstructs what really happened when four people found hell in a tropical paradise. And the Sea Will Tell reconstructs the events and subsequent trial of a riveting true murder mystery, and probes into the dark heart of a serpentine scenario of death. Copies are available at SDPL and SDCL. Also available from Link+. Reach out to me if you need help procuring a copy.
