Program Description

Event Details

In Japan, Koinobori decorate the landscape to celebrate Children’s Day.  In Japanese culture, the carp symbolizes courage and strength because of its ability to swim up a waterfall.  Japanese parents hope their children will exhibit these traits and hang the paper fish outside their homes.

(For ages 5 and up).
