Program Description

Event Details

So far on the SDPL Virtual Hub, we've made macrame, spooky terrariums and this time around, we're weaving bracelets with Toshwerks! Learn how to design and assemble your very own stylish bracelet by weaving craft yarn through drinking straws.

At 4 p.m. Toshwerks will go live on the SDPL Virtual Hub on Facebook and demonstrate how to weave these bracelets. To those that register for this workshop, Toshwerks will supply a limited number of craft kits.

Once registered, these craft kits will be put aside for pickup at Mission Valley Library · 2123 Fenton Parkway, San Diego, CA 92108 · (858) 573-5007

While the craft kits are limited in number, we welcome everyone to join in and participate! Here is a list of supplies—you may have a lot of these at home:

  • 3 straight straws (plastic prefered, paper is ok )
  • Tape (clear preferred, masking is ok, duct not advised )
  • Ball of yarn (approx. 6 yards, any style or color ok)
  • Scissors
