Program Description

Event Details

Cyanotype is a form of image making with light sensitive material. A cross between printmaking and photography, Cyanotypes are activated by UV light from the sun and activate when areas on the paper are blocked from the sun, while others are exposed. Students will experiment with essential and basic photography techniques across different surfaces like paper and fabric by using the shadows of leaves, flowers and other natural objects.

Recommended for ages 8 and up, while supplies last. Sponsored by SRFOL.
