Event Details

Calling all aspiring actors!  Join us at the Cygnet Theatre's Summer Youth Acting Camp at Valencia Park/ Malcolm X Library from Monday, July 25 - Friday, July 29 (10:30 am - 1:00 pm). 

At the camp, students will learn the basics of acting and professional theatre etiquette and terminology that will help them improve public speaking skills, and teach them how to use their voice for greater self-confidence. Come meet new friends and have fun!  This camp is free, registration is required for ages 11-17.

On Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, for their culminating project, participants of the Summer Youth Acting Camp will share a short performance and some details of what they learned about acting with an audience of family, friends, and community members. Come and be a part of this special program. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
