Data Science Alliance, a non-profit organization presents a timely workshop to help participants recognize online scammers and learn how to share information online responsibly.  Topics covered include:  protecting private information; what motivates a scammer; types of online scams; identity theft; how to identity fake online stores; being aware of posts they share; and tips for navigating safely.
