Event Details

Join us for our first annual Día De Los Muertos celebration! Our celebration welcomes all ages and will include a presentation and a film screening. We will also have a community altar and light refreshments towards the end of the evening.

Day of the Dead: History and Traditions

2:30 – 3:30 pm


A presentation on the history and traditions of the Day of the Dead and how to build a Mexican altar. The presentation will conclude with a live musical interpretation of “La Llorona” by renown Mexican guitarist, Pablo Gómez Cano.

4:00 pm

Aspiring musician Miguel, confronted with his family's ancestral ban on music, enters the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary singer.
