Introduction to Seed Saving
Have you ever wondered:
- What plant seeds can be successfully saved?
- How is it done?
- How should saved seeds be stored?
You will learn answers to those questions - and more – from Jodi’s presentation!
Our speaker, Jodi Bay, has been a UCCE (University of California Cooperative Extension) Master Gardener of San Diego County since 2012 and was a former Vice-President of Communications for that group. She has also written several columns in the San Diego Union Tribune on various gardening topics, including articles on growing vegetables and garden hand tools. She will be speaking to our group, sharing her knowledge on Seed Saving. The meeting is, as usual, open to all library patrons. Attendees will learn about seed basics; selection; saving techniques, and storage. She will also include a demonstration with her talk.
