Do you find your traditional resume template to be plain and boring? If the answer is yes, then join this virtual session.

Learn how to easily design and assemble an inspiring infographic resume.

Graphic Design Platform: Canva (free web-based design site)

Requirements before attending session:

  • Open a free Canva.com account
  • Pre-Write your resume content in a Google Doc or Word Doc so that it can easily be transferred by copy/paste method into your new design template. Make sure to double check for spelling and grammar.
  • Images, logos, or a self portrait you would like to include in the resume template should be easily accessible (pre-saved on a flashdrive or on your computer) to upload into your Canva account. 

 

This session will not cover how to build resume content, but simply how to enhance the design and layout of a resume for visual presentation. We may touch on basic categories you might want to include in a standard resume. I’ll be sure to provide resources to free resume builders and a workforce organization that can provide assistance and review of resume content for free.
