Event Details

Desperado is one of San Diego’s next generation bluegrass bands and a member of the San Diego Blue Grass Society. They are regular performers at the Annual San Diego Blue Grass Festival and events throughout the Western United States. This group of energetic musicians have been harmonizing for many years.  Their banjo, guitar, violin, mandolin, and standing bass blend together to celebrate the rich heritage of Southern “down home “music.

Bluegrass is America’s root music with its origins in the Appalachia Mountains.  This lively music takes it inspiration from Irish and Scottish tunes.  As it evolved, bluegrass incorporated influences of African-America music and jazz.  Come and enjoy a night of fun!
