Celebrate Día!  ¡Celebrando Día!

Join us for a celebration of literacy and STEAM education! Children and families will enjoy hand-on activities, story time, and a book giveaway (while supplies last).  Don’t miss Elinor* from PBS Kids' hit animated series, Elinor Wonders Why, Mij’o Muzik presented by Joe Bloom, & local children's author Miriam Aguilar Escobar!

El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

10:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. – Story time with local author Miriam Aguilar Escobar, followed by dance and movement!

10:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - Joe Bloom presents Mij’o Muzik

10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Book signing (the book discount for attendees is $20.00 - checks and/or cash accepted)

10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. & 11:30am – 12:00 p.m. – Photos with KPBS Kids character, Elinor Wonders Why

10:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Hands-on activities
