Event Details

El Día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. This year at the Point Loma Library, we are going to celebrate Día with a special Bilingual Spanish/English musical Story time singing songs in both Spanish& English.  Please join Branch  Manager Christine Gonzalez & Youth Services Librarian Mark Harryman with songs and stories in honor of Día.

When our story time is over, we will be serving Pan Dulce (sweet bread) and Mexican hot chocolate.
