Event Details

Ever wanted to see DNA, the molecule of life? Come to the Discover DNA workshop to conduct an experiment where you'll extract real DNA from strawberries! Students will get to work with pipettes and take home their DNA samples in a scientific tube.

Students will also learn the basics of DNA and the central dogma. There may be a live demo of creating glowing RNA and proteins.

For grades 4-10

Walk-ins will be accepted but parents will need to complete the registration form to accept safety/consent conditions.
