Event Details

Join us as we celebrate Diwali. We will have fun, festive, arts and crafts! "Thus, Diwali, or Deepavali, commonly known as "the festival of lights," is one of the most widely celebrated Hindu holidays. Meaning "row of lamps," Deepavali is celebrated through all forms of light, whether it be lighting clay lamps or setting off fireworks outside. Though celebrated a little differently around the world, every tradition and story is rooted in the triumph of good over evil, within and around us."

This event will include Diwali greeting card making, paper rockets, and clay lantern painting!
