Event Details

Extract DNA From Strawberry – Why are your eyes that color? Is your earlobe attached or detached? What makes up all the physically unique-ness about every living thing? DNA!! How do scientists read the DNA code? We will bring strawberries and supplies to extract DNA in the class – instruction provided by real Genomics Scientists from J CRAIG VENTER INSTITUTE. 

Best for 2nd – 6th grade learners. Limit 40 students per library event...registration required!
