Event Details

A new recurring program consisting of a series of documentary film viewings followed by a discussion to explore a wide variety of topics and matters of interest.

The first of a series of interactive lectures, using film and lively conversation to explore just a few of the many wonders of the world around us. First will follow veteran magician and illusionist James Randi as he investigates claims of supernatural abilities in Nova's “Secrets of the Psychics.” This is a very entertaining and thought-provoking film that helps us take a closer look at the ways in which we think and evaluate our experiences, and some of the ways our minds can play tricks on themselves.
