Does your dog have what it takes to show at the Dog Stars and win a Sirius Award?

We loved your submissions, but now it's finally time to see which dog videos are worthy of a Sirius Award! Join us for an evening of phenomenal community-submitted films and an informational panel from dog behaviorists, animal rescues, and conservationists.

Please note that only Service Dogs are allowed within library buildings.

We invite attendees to please bring donations of dry dog food, treats, and other canine objects for our donation drive supporting Project Street Vet. (see this LINK for a full list.)

Key Dates:

  • August 18, 2023 - Submission form opens.
  • September 30, 2023 - Submission form closes. (We will also close once we hit 75 submissions, so don't wait!)
  • October 23, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm - The Dog Stars Video Awards Festival and Community Panel, presented by the San Diego Public Library and various Community Partners

Parking:

Parking is available on-site in the library's Parking Garage. Parking is free for 2 hours with validation. Validation is available in the first floor lobby.
