Event Details

Alexander Calder

This class will focus on the life and techniques of the American sculptor Alexander Calder. After a brief history of the artist and a look at some of his works, young artists will create a standing wire mobile inspired by Calder's style. Participants will learn about balance and structure while exploring a different medium of contemporary art!
