Program Description

Event Details

In honor of National LGBTQ Pride Month, we will be showing Dramarama, an award winning film about a teen in 1994 struggling to come out of the closet with his friends during their last murder mystery slumber party before they head to college and part ways.

Dramarama, a funny, nostalgic film festival favorite, is a poignant love letter to adolescent outsiders, late bloomers, and the intense friendships that mark our youth.

"Like a John Hughes movie reimagined for a queer audience, this wonderfully enjoyable teen comedy is a heartfelt love letter to all the misfits and outsiders." Attitude Magazine

Film director and writer Jonathon Wysocki will be here to answer questions about the film and the film making process.

Popcorn will be served.  Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage or a reusable water bottle to fill at the filling station near the entrance.

While the movie is not officially rated, it would probably be PG 13, most suited for adults and teens.
