Event Details

San Diego Public Library in collaboration with San Diego Unified School District group Diversify Our Narrative present author Lizz Huerta, who will discuss the feminist and Mesoamerican roots of her debut novel The Lost Dreamer. We'll explore how the themes of resisting the patriarchy and class privilege play into the story and how they reflect our world today.

The Books for Good Trouble: Social Justice Dialogs series of programming encourages discussion of local community concerns and how we can implement the positive changes we want to see.
