Event Details

California native plants are among the easiest and most drought tolerant plants for local landscapes—if they are handled correctly. California native plants can create a lush, wildlife-friendly landscape that requires minimal irrigation once it’s established. One of the key differences between natives and other plants, is that they thrive in compatible plant communities. Learn about new tools which enable people to recognize the right environment for the plant palette they select and to easily choose the plants which grow well together. Learn which plants will work best in your yard, how to get them established, and how to keep them looking great all year long.
