Event Details

For ages 10-16; An engaging, empowering workshop made to inspire the next generation of scientists through movement! Designed to showcase dance as a creative form of science communication, this interactive workshop invites participants to explore scientific concepts through choreography, storytelling, and expression. Perfect for youth passionate about both the arts and sciences, the workshop encourages creativity, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the natural world. Participants will leave with a foundational understanding of three different dance styles, how each can be used as a powerful tool for storytelling and science communication, and a piece of original choreography they’ve created themselves alongside their peers! This workshop is open to anyone -- no dance or science background required.
