Award-winning San Diego poets Sandra Alcosser, Kazim Ali, Brandon Cesmat, Shadab Zeest Hashmi, and Ishmael von Heidrick-Barnes will read poems that address ecological and humanitarian concerns regarding water, food, and hunger.

Ecopoetry is not nature poetry. It is poetry with a strong ecological emphasis as a response to climate change, global warming, and pending ecological disaster.
