Learn about the one of the most active and influential First Ladies, Eleanor Roosevelt, and her influence on President Franklin D. Roosevelt and her impact on the country and the world. An activist before, during and after Roosevelt’s presidency, she later served as President Harry Truman’s Ambassador to the United Nations where he called her the “First Lady of the World.”
