When there is no hope for recovery from cancer or other serious illness. California law (EOLOA) allows physicians to prescribe a lethal medication. There are many safeguards in the Act that result in limiting the number of people that qualify for the prescription.  What are these limitations? What are the medications? How do you find a doctor who is willing to prescribe? How many die each year from these medications? Are there alternatives to EOLOA? Scripps Ranch attorney Bill Simmons will discuss the Act and answer these questions.
