What does puppetry in a glass aquarium have in common with puppetry with two live pianos,  crashing Japanese theater screens, and giant puppetry in the ocean at LaJolla Shores, other than the puppetry element? These disparate and unique events are all the brainchildren of Basil Twist, renown in New York theater circles, recipient of the prestigious McArthur award, a frequently-seen artist at the La Jolla Playhouse,,and one of our own, a native Californian.

Initiating our second season, The City Heights Puppet Project is honored to present Basil in an intimate evening of down-home puppetry talk and puppetry demonstration, which is family friendly.  This is a rare opportunity to experience Basil with his signature marionette, and to catch the flavor of the upcoming WOW Festival.
