Dress up in your most colorful outfit and join Arts for Learning for a celebration of music and mask—making! Enjoy an evening of Brazilian percussion rhythms with the dynamic music of Sol e Mar, led by master percussionist Mark Lamson. Sol e Mar showcases the African influenced rhythms of Brazil in an interactive and engaging performance. Visual artists from the San Diego Guild of Puppetry help families construct imaginative and colorful kid and adult-friendly masks reflecting various cultures. The evening ends with a parade around the annex to show off your mask-making creativity and a free book for each family.
