February's free family music program sponsored by the Friends of the Carmel Valley Library will feature the Grigorian-Gubenko piano duo. They will perform romantic works by Tchaikovsky, Debussy and Ravel. Recently formed in 2016, Anna and Natasha have given numerous solo recitals, participated in piano ensemble masterclasses with the renowned Anderson Roe Piano Duo, and have won the Grand Prize in the Piano Ensemble Competition at California State University Fullerton in 2017. Anna Grigorian was born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, trained at the Paliashvili Special Music School for Gifted Children and further educated in Armenia. She has worked in Syria and more recently in Massachussetts.  She is currently teaching piano in North County San Diego. Natasha was born in Ukraine, educated at the Kharkov Special Music School for Gifted Children. She moved to Israel where she completed her studies at Tel-Aviv University, The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music. Since 2000 Natasha has been living in California. She maintains a successful private piano studio in Irvine, CA.
