Beloved language maven Richard Lederer will help you appreciate the glories of the English language and laugh at its oddities. This presentation will inspire, enlighten, and tickle the funny bone.

Dr. Lederer is the language columnist for The San Diego Union-Tribune and the author of over 60 books on language, history, and humor, including his best-selling Anguished English series. He was a founding co-host of "A Way with Words" on public radio. He has been named International Punster of the Year.

This San Diego Oasis event is free to attend thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Knox Branch Library.
