Cash for College

High school students (12th grade only) and families in San Diego County can register below to attend a FREE Cash for College event for individual help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act (CADAA) and/or Chafee Grant for Foster Youth applications. Arrive between 9am-12:30pm to ensure you receive adequate support before workshops end at 1pm.

Please create an account in advance and have the login/PIN ready if possible or get started on this day.

Material Needed

FAFSA/CADAA Checklist

  • Bring your laptop computer or tablet
  • You will also need to bring copies of items such as driver's license or ID
  • social security number (if you have one)
  • 2022 federal income tax return
  • list of assets like businesses/farms/rental properties
  • recent bank statements
  • list of colleges student is interested in attending, etc.

Student and parent(s) cannot share an email address; be sure you each know your own email address and phone number(s).
