The La Jolla Theatre Ensemble will present a staged reading of "First Day of December" by Richard Fouts.

On December 1st, 1969 the lives of five fraternity brothers are forever changed as they listen to the Army's Draft Lottery, which uses their birthdays to randomly determine the order they will be drafted to serve in Vietnam.

Directed by John Tessmer and featuring Heather Armstrong, Susan Benninghoff, Robert Coe, Shane Monaghan, Benjamin Monts, John Tessmer, Tommy Tran, and Devin Wade.
