Event Details

Join us for an embroidery design basics workshop, where the class will review the following content using FOSS (Free & Open Source Software) basics. Registration is required. 

Monday, November 18th from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

  • INKSCAPE  software:
    • Basic tools for embroidery design
    • Tracing pictures with bezier (pen) tool
    • Using clipart in embroidery designs
    • Lettering tools and custom lettering

 

  • INKSTITCH software:
    • Inkstitch plugin lettering tool
    • Full usage of Inkstitch plugin for embroidery design

 

  • PROJECT BASED LEARNING will involve creating a custom embroidery design file.
