SENIOR IMPROV TROUPE SHOWS THEIR STUFF
“The Free Spirits”, a senior Improv company created at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UCSD, is performing at the Carmel Valley Library at 4:30 PM on April 12. Ages of the troupe range from 69-88, but age has not stopped us!. Although seniors can take classes in improv at theatres in town, we think we are the only regularly performing group of senior improvisors! The 45 minute show will be a combination of “short form” (Improv that follows a particular guideline, like every line of dialogue needs to start with a consecutive letter of the alphabet) and “long form” (which involves the creation of an extended story line).
