Event Details

Sometimes known as a Surrealist painter, Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) is probably Mexico’s best known artist, known for her vibrant colors, unflinching self portraiture, and celebration of the indigenous culture. Gwenyth Mapes (Professor of Humanities at Grossmont College) will discuss her life and art in this illustrated presentation. This free event is offered by San Diego Oasis.
