The French Winemaker’s Daughter is a powerful tale of love, war, and family. The focus is on two women, one the daughter of a Jewish Winemaker in Nazi-occupied France and the other a 21st century female American pilot, and how they become connected across time by a rare bottle of wine hidden from the Nazis.
Loretta is an award-winning author of books for youth and adults, and a former Spanish teacher. She founded One Book, One Lakeville, a community-wide read program in Minnesota which just celebrated its 15th year. Additionally, she serves on the board of her local Friends group as well as Chair of the Programming Committee for the MN Association of Library Friends Board.
