Searching for Savanna is a gripping exploration of the disappearance of Savanna Greywind when she was eight months pregnant. The book highlights the shocking epidemic of violence against Native American women in America and the ramifications of government inaction.

Mona Gable specializes in stories about gender, conservation, nature and travel. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications and her memoir Blood Brother: The Gene That Rocked My Family, was published in 2014. She has a BA from UC Berkeley and a MA in education.
