Almost Family by Ann Bancroft
Three middle aged, metastatic cancer patients become unlikely friends in a comically awful support group. They ditch the group, forming their own, aiming to enjoy life on their own terms. Their bond leads them to help one another resolve, family issues and find peace and acceptance at the end of their lives.
Ann Bancroft Began writing fiction after a career in journalism and communications. A graduate of UC Berkeley, she’s been a newspaper and wire service reporter, editorial writer, speechwriter, and journalism teacher. Almost Family, winner of the Sarton Women’s Book Award for fiction is her first novel.
