The Friends of the Malcolm X Library is a dedicated organization that supports the library's effort to provide the best possible service to library patrons.   The Friends promote awareness of the library as an important cultural and resource center in the community.  Through book sales and other fundraising drives, the Friends support purchases of books, subscriptions, equipment and sponsor programs-- all to make the library a center of learning and enjoyment for the community.  The Friends is 100% volunteer.

 

You are invited to become a Friend! Friends meet regularly, the second Saturday of each month, for one hour.  For more information, call the library at 619-527-3405, or stop by and pick up a membership application.
