Event Details

By request, Courtly Noyse is returning to the Point Loma/ Hervey Library with its lively mixture of humor, imagination and versatility in the performance of Renaissance music. This group of troubadours have been performing together since 2003 throughout the Southland.

Courtly Noyse plays many unique instruments: sacbuts,chalmeau, hurdy gurdy, shawns, Renaissance guitar, recorders, viola da gamba, vielle, krummhorns, cornamuse, cornetti, bowed psaltery, mandolin, gemshorns, rackett, and various percussion instruments . They can also cast their instruments aside at the drop of a (Tudor) hat, and burst into five-part vocal harmony.
