Event Details

Give your child the thrill of making their very first video game! In this free, one-hour event, kids in grades 3 and up will work alongside a live instructor to design a main character, add movement, and create simple challenges--then watch their game come to life. It’s a fun, beginner-friendly way to spark creativity, build problem-solving skills, and get them excited about technology. Presented by The League of Amazing Programmers!

Optionally, if your child wants to save their work, they will need to use Google, Microsoft, or Clever at the beginning of class to login to this website: https://arcade.makecode.com/

Laptops will be provided, but registrants may bring their own if they prefer.

For grades 4-12. Registration required.
